※ All items listed are available, so you can purchase without a comment asking about stock (^^) Hello, I will be listing winter sports items, mainly items I've used myself and consignment items. I have 25 years of snowboarding experience and have seen a considerable number of gear. ~Gear Selection Advice~ Generally, there's an image that beginner-oriented gear is cheaper and advanced gear is more expensive, but the price of a snowboard basically changes depending on the sole material. Soles are broadly divided into sintered and extruded, with sintered being expensive and extruded being relatively inexpensive. Sintered soles are significantly superior in terms of gliding performance and wax durability. However, sintered soles can only perform at their best with regular hot wax treatments. Liquid wax alone doesn't make use of the benefits of sintered soles. Therefore, just because a board is expensive doesn't mean it's difficult to handle for beginners; on the contrary, the superior gliding performance can actually lead to faster improvement. Of course, the flex and shape also affect ease of handling depending on skill level, but the price is less likely to be a factor there. Each manufacturer releases new models every year, but snowboards basically haven't changed much over time. However, when choosing, I recommend selecting boards from 2009 onwards. (Around this time, the industry underwent a major transformation, and boards that are easier to handle, such as rocker and double camber boards, increased dramatically. It's similar to when hybrid cars became commonplace in the automotive industry.) Conversely, older models are mostly difficult to ride, even for experienced riders. There are many listings that describe older items as beginner-friendly without mentioning the year. Be especially cautious of those who don't answer questions about the year. Some people will try to brush you off by offering a discount. If you're concerned, it's best to do your own thorough research. The boards I list, excluding new ones, all have hot wax applied and are completely finished with scraping and brushing. ※ In reality, only a small number of people, regardless of their skill level, properly perform hot waxing. (Rental items use liquid wax and do not have hot wax applied.) While the performance of the equipment is important, it's the waxing process that brings out its potential☆ Conversely, choose your bindings and boots even more carefully than your board. Be aware that set sales often include cheap boots and bindings. Feel free to comment if you have any concerns about how to choose.
