Thank you for looking. Thank you for your "likes." I used to tailor kimonos at a kimono shop. Now, I volunteer sewing at a hospital and leisurely do Japanese and Western-style sewing. Kimono have wonderful patterns and color combinations that are not found in Western clothing. It would be a waste to let them sit unused. I sew with the idea of "remaking kimonos I no longer wear into Western clothing so they can be worn." Silk is light and warm, and cotton from yukata is refreshingly comfortable. Remakes from kimonos may have scratches, scuffs, or fading. I take care to tailor them so that these are hidden as much as possible. Sometimes I also tailor from new bolts of fabric. Sometimes I also tailor from new Western clothing fabric. Everything is a one-of-a-kind item. I hope for a wonderful connection. Thank you for your consideration.
