Hello, I am Akai Ninjin (Red Carrot). To all our valued customers, We are writing to inform you that we will be increasing our prices by 50 yen per item. This is due to the rising costs of all our raw materials (reeds, rattan, hat wood, gas cylinders, blueprints, and shipping). We have been selling at the previous price until now, and we appreciate your understanding regarding this price increase. We look forward to your continued patronage. In relation to Gagaku (Japanese Imperial Court Music), we are offering Hichiriki reeds, lacquered paulownia boxes for Hichiriki, lacquered Hichiriki tubes that can store the reeds while attached, and lacquered Ryuteki flutes. Everything is handmade by my father-in-law, so it may take some time. We are a Gagaku family. My siblings-in-law and I play the Hichiriki, Sho, Koto, and Kakko, and by chance, I am practicing the Ryuteki. My siblings and I sometimes perform together at funerals. I am selling these items on behalf of my father-in-law, who makes them by hand. Thank you for your support. ● About the Products ● Basically, since these are handmade by my father-in-law, we inspect them before shipping. However, in the unlikely event of a defective product, please contact us before leaving a review. Also, regarding the sale of reeds, there are some reeds that are considered "B-grade" during production (they don't significantly affect playing, but have cosmetic imperfections). We may include one as a service when shipping, if available. ● About Shipping ● Items shipped via regular mail will be sent directly from the post office. Please note that orders placed on holidays or before weekends may be delayed accordingly. We also plan to sell other unwanted items in the future. Finally, we have received reports that a small number of customers are reselling our products on sites like Amazon. While this is not illegal, we would like to emphasize that we only sell on Mercari and Yahoo! Auctions. We kindly ask that you avoid purchasing our products at inflated prices from other sources.
