I'm starting my fourth year on Mercari. I am grateful to have so many wonderful customers. Sometimes I make silly mistakes and cause inconvenience. I started using Mercari to declutter and get rid of unwanted items from my parents' home in between raising children, caring for elderly relatives, and working. My parents' 10-tatami mat hobby room still has so much fabric that I haven't been able to organize it all. (I think I've only managed to sort about a third of it!) My grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, and aunt all enjoyed handicrafts, knitting, and dressmaking, and they had a lot of tools and materials and made many creations. My father was a lumber merchant and handled building materials. He also did DIY, so there are machines and such. There are items from various genres. There's just a lot of stuff. Basically, I'm doing this because it feels wasteful to throw things away, rather than to make a profit. I list items at the lowest possible prices. I often can't offer discounts, so I appreciate your understanding. Please note that I use recycled materials, such as cardboard boxes, for shipping.
