We strive to ship as quickly as possible. I have been using Mercari since May 2021. I have disposed of over 100 books and other items through Mercari. Books are generally stored at home in a bookshelf with glass doors. In November 2021, I had an unpleasant experience with an abnormal buyer named "Angel" (believed to be a female nurse residing in Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture). Even though the Japan Post tracking number indicated delivery, she claimed not to have received it a week later. She neglected to perform the necessary confirmation with Japan Post, which is the buyer's responsibility. When I contacted the delivery person directly and confirmed that it was indeed delivered, "Angel" repeatedly uttered abusive language that is difficult to write down, so I had the administration team terminate the transaction. It is likely that her claim of not receiving it was a fabrication. Since then, I have been cautious in my transactions, assuming that a certain number of such abnormal individuals exist among trading partners. On October 9, 2021, I noticed fraudulent use of Mercari Smart Pay by someone and contacted Mercari. However, it took over two weeks for the situation to begin moving towards a resolution. Mercari may want to label this as phishing, but I maintain that the problem lies with Mercari's vulnerable system (October 30, 2021). I am decluttering a vast number of books, DVDs, and other items. Many of the books are old and do not have barcodes, which makes things difficult.
