Hello! I primarily collect violins and violas. Once I acquire an instrument I like, I don't let it go, but I may list it as a treasured item if requested. The instruments I acquire come from various sources. I am a player myself and previously worked at a string instrument specialty store, so I always clean and adjust the instruments to ensure they are in playable condition before listing them. However, I am not a craftsman, so if rehairing or peg replacement is necessary, I entrust it to a craftsman acquaintance. My goal is to revive instruments that have been left unplayed and allow them to be active again as musical instruments. I am not a dealer or a reseller! I work full-time for a company during the day. This is purely my personal hobby! Occasionally, I may overlook something. Adjustments are made based on my personal sense as a seller, not with the precision of a craftsman. If you are looking for workshop quality, please purchase from a string instrument specialty store. What is shown in the images is everything included in each listing. Please leave the shipping to me. To prevent the bridge or soundpost from falling, I will ship the instrument with the strings loosened but still tuned. Also, during winter, due to dryness, the pegs may loosen during transport. Please understand. To prevent the bridge from falling or breaking, I wrap the bridge and tailpiece in bubble wrap and then fill the case with cushioning material to prevent the instrument from rattling before shipping. ~To Violin Beginners~ If a new bow is included, it is generally not rosined. Please apply rosin thoroughly before starting to use it. Also, although I ship the instrument tuned, it may change during transport. When tuning, please be very careful not to overtighten and break the strings. Free tuning apps are available for smartphones. If a string breaks during tuning, please provide a new string at your own expense. If the instrument arrives with a broken string, please let me know, and I will assist you. 2024.02.19.
