I have over 50 years of fishing experience. I've retired from lure fishing, such as surf, offshore, basket, and sea bass, and have recently been enjoying leisurely bait fishing in small areas, such as short-rod, light-tackle surf fishing for Japanese whiting, and summer fishing for flathead, octopus, and horse mackerel using sabiki rigs. Unfortunately, in recent years, the catch of winter flounder and rock trout in Tokyo Bay has been poor, but I hope they will make a comeback someday. I have a collector's habit, and I have a considerable amount of rods, reels, rigs, etc., turning my place into a small tackle shop. Since it's too much for my retirement fishing trips, I'm gradually putting items up for sale.
