Hello. I would like to write about two things I keep in mind when conducting transactions on Mercari, and the kind of people I would rather not deal with. Three things I keep in mind: ① I respond quickly to inquiries from customers, and I basically ship purchased items on the same day. ② Price negotiations are a hassle, so I generally set the prices of the items I list at a fair price. ③ I greet people properly. I can't force people not to make silent purchases, but I would like to have a pleasant transaction if possible, so I always make at least the minimum greetings, such as "I have purchased it. Thank you," or "Shipped today," etc. People I don't want to deal with: ① People who don't read the product description properly and then try to return the item after purchase, making unreasonable demands. One buyer seemed to have mistaken the gravure idol clippings I was selling for a whole magazine, and demanded a return. (Even though I didn't mention a whole magazine in the product description at all.) They didn't even send me a comment, but immediately requested a return through the administration, so I rejected the request. Even though they were at fault, they insisted on "complying with the return request," and I had a very unpleasant experience. Of course, I blocked them immediately. ② The gravure pages of a magazine I purchased were quite torn, and I requested a return, saying "I don't need this kind of thing," but this person also didn't admit their fault, and said something ridiculous like "Didn't you put the item in that condition after you bought it?" In the end, I was able to return the item with the administration covering the shipping costs. People like ① and ② are, overall, a very small minority, but it is also a fact that there are people who don't understand reason or logic. It's difficult to correct other people's ways of thinking and values, but I myself will continue to strive to be sincere in my dealings, so thank you for your understanding.
