Hakata-ori is made by tightly weaving thick weft threads, which are made by combining several threads, into many warp threads.
Because of the high density of the warp threads and the careful weaving, it has a unique thickness and firmness, and the "squeak" sound of silk when the obi is tied is a characteristic feature.
Please experience the unique firm texture of Hakata-ori and the feeling of a snug fit when tying it.
The traditional "kanmichi" pattern is arranged in a modern style.
This obi, where "chic" and "stylish" meet, can be matched with various kimonos and will be useful in various situations.
