A cup and saucer from Gefle, a Swedish porcelain manufacturer. Gefle was founded in 1910 and continued production until 1979, even after being acquired by Upsala Ekeby. Due to its rarity, it has become increasingly popular. This "VALENCIA" series is a very rare item that is difficult to obtain even in Sweden. Although there is a famous series of the same name by Arabia, this one is striking with its flamboyant colors. The overlapping fan-shaped patterns resemble "Seigaiha" (waves of the sea), often seen in kimonos. It also looks like autumn leaves are depicted.
