This item was given to me 30 years ago. Until a year ago, it produced sound, albeit with some crackling, using six AA batteries. However, upon checking its operation for this listing, no sound was produced, so I am listing it as junk. Also, since I don't have an adapter, I haven't tested its operation with one. I would like to request transactions with those who can perform maintenance themselves. Please understand that this is a used item and has some rust.
