The Joytop Walk is a walking shoe jointly developed by Descente and I-Fore. It incorporates technology from competitive athletic shoes, offering the functionality of a serious walking shoe while also providing excellent comfort and a pleasant walking experience. Its sleek design makes it a versatile choice, suitable not only for walking but also for shopping, strolling, traveling, commuting, and any other occasion where you'll be on your feet. While maintaining its lightweight feel and smart appearance, we have improved its propulsion and cushioning for enhanced comfort. Specifically, for the sole's improvement, we enlisted Professor Hiroaki Yoshida of Shinshu University to oversee the project. By integrating Descente's professional athletic shoe technology with insights from Kansei Engineering, we have successfully developed a sole structure that provides robust support for individuals with reduced muscle strength. The internal zipper allows for easy on and off with either hand, regardless of which foot the shoe is for. The upper is made of Kuraray's soft and conforming artificial leather (microfiber). The surface texture is a suede-like finish characterized by a fine nap. Its soft texture ensures a non-constricting fit.
