[8] Shape: Natural Stone Inkstone ◉ About the Work Made from Yokokawa Gorge Ryukei stone from Tatsuno, Nagano Prefecture, it is a black mica clay plate, and the stone quality is dense, allowing for fine-grained ink. Especially, Nabekura Ryukei stone is said to be the best stone among them. In this work, the stone pattern of Ryukei stone clearly appears, meandering in an S-shape from the upper side of the sea to the lower side of the hill. The edges are smooth and flat, and when you place your fingertip on the inner corner of the edge, it is processed so sharply that it feels like it could cut, clearly demonstrating the skill of the craftsman. Also, the sides of the inkstone have been left rough as they were when cut out, and the characteristic dark brown color of Ryukei stone appears on the lower left and right sides of the inkstone, making it unique. ⭕️ It has a beautiful appearance and a reasonable size, and furthermore, it is a new, beautiful item, and is a work preferred by women.
