Size: Diameter 17.5cm, Height 5cm These plates are in an uguisu (Japanese bush warbler) color, and the glaze features give them a unique character. Because high-quality glaze is used, each plate has its own unique and profound appearance. No two plates are exactly alike because the glaze application differs on each one. This product requires more effort than regular plates. Water-repellent treatment is applied during the drying of the clay to prevent the glaze from adhering to the tokusa (horsetail) pattern. As shallow bowls, they can be used for mini curries, pasta, salads, simmered dishes, and ohitashi (boiled and seasoned vegetables), making them a versatile addition to your everyday dining. The height also makes them suitable for dishes with soup. Because of their depth, they will suit any dish and be very easy to use. These are direct from the kiln and made in Japan.
