This is a wooden bowl with a lacquer finish, not made of resin. It's a slightly small size, so it might be good for side dishes, snacks, or small items. I bought it at a Kishu lacquerware store in Wakayama. I use other lacquerware, and I use them without worrying too much, avoiding abrasive scrub brushes that might scratch them, and placing them to dry easily when draining water.
