Tadanori Yokoo, born in 1936, is a Japanese graphic designer, painter, printmaker, and writer, known worldwide for his unique style that blends pop art, surrealism, and psychedelic art. He gained attention as a graphic designer in the 1960s and became a symbol of the era with posters for Shuji Terayama's "Tenjo Sajiki." In 1981, he declared himself a painter and focused on painting, holding many solo exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. He has received numerous awards and has close connections with Issey Miyake and Yukio Mishima.
