This is a Kutani-yaki incense burner featuring a pair of shishi (lion-dogs) ear handles, a silver fire cover, and a playful scene of boys and girls. The mark reads: Seizan. I'm told it was made before the war. I don't see any scratches or scuffs. Dimensions: Height 11cm, Width 16.7cm, Depth 12.5cm. It comes in a matching box (paulownia wood box, no inscription, four-sided plank construction, with age-related discoloration).
