Thank you for viewing. This is a mud-dyed cotton Oshima Tsumugi fabric remnant, suitable for kimono remaking. It may contain a small amount of silk. I used to be fascinated by how easy it was to handle compared to genuine silk Oshima Tsumugi when remaking kimonos myself, and I collected these at antique markets. Back then, they weren't readily available, and even if I found them, they were as expensive as silk or even more so. Because it's woven, you can use either side. The fabric is thin and supple, but also sturdy. Although there may be some loose threads or small holes, the condition is relatively good. Please use the good parts for your handmade projects. Approximate dimensions: 33 x 285 cm There is a cut of about 10 cm in the center. Please allow for slight variations as measurements are approximate.
