This is an administrative-type globe made in the 1930s-40s. It was manufactured by G. THOMAS in Paris, France, and the language is French. I purchased it in 1990 from an antique shop in London. Globes from G. The size is approximately 26cm in height, and the circumference of the globe is approximately 38.5cm. The material is a wooden base, and the globe itself is made of paper. The condition has scratches, stains, and peeling of the paper, but I think it is in good condition for an antique that is about 90 years old. I think it can be displayed as an object. In Asia, Manchukuo is clearly indicated (although the French government did not recognize Manchukuo...). South Sakhalin, the Korean Peninsula, and Taiwan are Japanese territories. Pakistan and Bangladesh do not exist, and everything is British India. Around Vietnam is French Indochina, and the Southeast Asian islands such as Indonesia are Dutch East Indies. Most countries in Africa are not independent, and only Liberia, Egypt, and Ethiopia are listed as nations, while other countries are French West Africa and British Africa. Also, Israel does not exist, and only Palestine is indicated. As mentioned above, I think this globe is a fun (and serious) way to learn history as a historical material of modern world history.
