Although it appears to have uneven color in red in the photos, this is not the case in reality. It also seems good for practicing Japanese tailoring, kimono remakes, Aloha shirts, etc. I don't feel there are any noticeable scratches or stains, but it has been stored at home for many years, so there may be some overlooked scratches or stains.
