The artist Gyouun is highly regarded, especially for his tenmoku tea bowls (such as gold-painted tenmoku and oil-drop tenmoku). Association: Some works bear the "Sennyuji (Sennyu-ji) Imperial Crest," suggesting a deep connection with Sennyu-ji Temple in Kyoto, known as the imperial family's family temple.
