This is a proper teapot (kyusu) I received from someone who enjoys Chinese tea. There are characters and engravings, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to read them. It's well-made, and the lid fits perfectly. It's made of pottery, so it absorbs the tea's components, and I believe it will improve with use. It's made of dark-colored clay, and I used it to brew rock tea. I've been using it for display recently, so I'd like to pass it on to someone who will use it. There is no special bag or box. I will wrap it in bubble wrap for shipping.
