This hat, commonly known as a soft hat, was originally made in Europe. It features a center crease, with the crown narrowing towards the top and a valley-shaped indentation at the top crown. The material uses high-quality antelope-finished wool, which is finer and more lustrous than regular wool. This is the highest quality among rabbit fur hat bodies, and the short-haired ones that have been brushed are called antelope. It faithfully reproduces the smooth texture of rabbit fur with wool. The brim is a wide 8cm. While the edges are left raw for a rough finish, three stitches are applied to maintain strength. The ribbon uses a special gentleman's ribbon with finely shaped ends (commonly called "ears"). It can only be woven at low speed and requires the manual work of skilled craftsmen in many processes, making it a luxurious item. Its beautiful finish exudes a special presence that cannot be experienced with mass-produced products. A wind catcher, secured with rubber, is attached around the crown. In those days, it was used by passing a button through the flower hole of a jacket or shirt to prevent the hat from being blown away by the wind or falling off during movement. This wind catcher not only serves a practical purpose but also acts as a subtle accent, tightening the overall impression. The sweatband uses cow leather that has been tanned using a tannin tanning method, which involves soaking the leather in tannin (persimmon tannin) found in the bark, stems, leaves, and fruits of plants. It has little shrinkage and is robust, and it conforms to the shape of the head the more you use it, changing to a deep color.
