US Army M51 Parka Fishtail Parka 1951 Size S Rare Item The M-51 parka, adopted by the US Army. There is a 1951 stencil inside the hood. The hood, waist, and hem have drawcords, Buttoned epaulets on both shoulders, Hand warmer pockets with mini dot button closure flaps and wool lining. Front closure with mini dot buttons and a brass zipper CONMAR. Sleeves are adjustable with 27mm flat buttons. There is a fishtail at the back, which can be fastened with a hook. The stencil letters are faintly visible, but some parts are missing and unreadable.
