※ Malicious complainers are on the rise. Let's be careful. ※ I get asked this a lot, but questions like "When did you buy it?" or similar ones are meaningless. For example, with a car, some people drive over 100,000 km in a year from new. Also, if someone only uses their new car for shopping trips to the nearby supermarket, even if the exterior looks bad, the car is undoubtedly in better condition than a car that's been driven a lot. A car with 100,000 km on it might look shiny because it's been taken care of, but it will have problems here and there. That kind of negotiation is difficult, but it's a question often asked by beginners who don't understand sewing machines. Especially with sewing machines, there's a distinction between hobbyists and professionals. The condition will be drastically different between someone who uses it every day and someone who uses it only a few times a year. Of course, it would be great if someone bought it a year ago and never used it, but people can say anything, and many people will say whatever it takes to make a sale. However, sewing machines are honest, and when you open them up for maintenance, you can tell how much they've been used. Sewing machines are delicate machines that move in millimeters, so the answer is immediately apparent. I once bought a two-year-old, shiny sewing machine for 30,000 yen, but the inside was worn out, the stitches were bad, and it broke about six months later. While you can't say it's absolutely certain, with precision machines like sewing machines, you're likely to make a big mistake if you don't choose based on condition. I used to be obsessed with collecting sewing machines, but lately, when I find a broken one, I want to fix it. But some sewing machines are completely unrepairable, and I often end up in the red, but it's still satisfying when they run smoothly again (^-^; I used to be a collector of motorcycles and cars, but the stock of several million or tens of millions of yen was too expensive... But sewing machines, which move in millimeters and are delicate in a different sense, comparable to an engine, are fascinating!! I'm not a professional, just a collector within the hobby range "but I've gone beyond that (^o^;)" Fortunately, I have an acquaintance who used to be a sewing machine technician, and they're helping me out. I test-run all the sewing machines I collect. I'll deliver good quality items at reasonable prices (Aiming to conquer all sewing machines (;'∀')) (But the cost of sewing machine parts is too high (-_-;)
