This is a stole made from "Earth Brand" Honba Amami Oshima Tsumugi, hand-woven in Amami Oshima. The pattern is 80-kikko (turtle shell), an auspicious design for longevity and eternal prosperity, a timeless classic that never goes out of style, and has been said to bring happiness in all directions. From a distance, it looks plain, but it is a very popular pattern for men, women, and all ages. Enjoy the unique, subdued colors and the texture and feel that evoke the hand-woven style of Japan's traditional Honba Amami Oshima Tsumugi, one of the world's three major textiles. Oshima Tsumugi is a fabric that has been passed down in Japan since ancient times, and is coveted by all kimono lovers, but as a stole, it can be worn casually regardless of age. This time, we made it from leftover fabric, so we made it affordable. The edges of the stole are finished with a picot stitch. *Made from antique fabric with the "Earth Brand" certificate label attached (see photo 10), the certificate label is not included with the product.
