Here's a homemade two-hook bottom rig for surf casting. Perfect for multi-species fishing, targeting flatfish, greenling, stone flounder, Japanese sillaginidae, gobies, conger eels, rockfish, sea bass, and scorpionfish. As shown in the image, the leader is Daiwa Fluorocarbon Boat Leader 3, the hooks are Kawasemi Hooks Maruseigo size 12, and the snap swivels and swivels are made by Yo-Zuri. Hard plastic tubing is used on the snoods, the main line is nylon size 8, and the total length is approximately 110cm. This is a bottom rig (where the rig is above the weight), making it suitable for areas with a lot of snags or for surf casting for fish like Japanese sillaginidae. A key feature is that, based on experience, I feel that avoiding unnecessary decorations leads to better bites, so I haven't used any beads. Also, to maximize strength, I've used a palomar knot for the leader and hook connection. Furthermore, I've chosen Maruseigo hooks instead of flatfish hooks, which are prone to pulling out.
