This is likely an old Kyonuri lacquerware bowl. It features an elegant split-color lacquer base with a tasteful design of shrimp and eggplant on the interior. The bowl has a unique design, split with a gradient of vermilion and yellow lacquer. The interior maki-e (sprinkled picture) is modestly but carefully rendered. There are small scratches as shown in the images. The size is 12.6cm in diameter and 9cm in height. Please understand that this is an antique item.
