Lately, I've also been exploring underground hip-hop and Deep House! There's still so much music I don't know, and I'm always making new discoveries. When I used to listen to jazz with my head, I was stuck in the fixed idea that anything other than four-beat wasn't jazz. However, a few years ago, the records played by a young DJ were incredibly cool and the music had a great groove. The songs that a DJ, who is about the same age as my son, was using because he admired jazz were truly uncharted territory for me. Since then, I've become hooked on music that I listen to with my body, which I didn't listen to when I was younger. I wonder how far I'll go...
